AppleGate Academy & Preschool was established in 1996 and has an enrollment of 125 children at our Main Campus in Stockbridge, and 203 children at our South Campus location in Jonesboro.  Our exceptional group of handpicked degreed and credentialed teachers guides and facilitates the learning process by promoting readiness skills and developing an ongoing individual assessment for each child that addresses physical, social, emotional and intellectual development.
 

Our programs are structured in its approach. Each child can move freely to exploratory centers where children experience hands on math skills, pre-reading and pre-writing activities, discovery science, social science skills, social and play skills, art and music, computers, and life skills. AppleGate’s teachers provide the personal individual attention and the developmentally appropriate pacing which allows each child to grow in a natural progression.

We enhance the development of each child as we offer specialty programs in our extended programs such as music and computer.

Our Directors

Our school’s Directors opened both school to fill a need for a quality care and academic readiness.  This setting is balanced with an emphasis on academic goals within an appropriate developmental framework. They take special care in selecting a highly professional staff.
